R1 Anime studios produce an English dub, and subtitles (and some other localized films too, not just Japanese Anime) so I think that would qualify them as a studio and not just a distributor.
As examples:
Moribito. The English version is produced by Anime Works (studio), and distributed by Media Blasters. No Problem.
Air. The English version is produced by ADV, who also distribute their own titles.
Do you list ADV twice? Once as a studio and also as a distributor?
Side Note: The rules use - DVD publishing company. The program uses - Distributor.
That could cause confusion and they may not even be the same thing for all releases (Geneon). | | | | Tom. |
