| | Posted: | | | | As we nog have Flemish in DVD Profiler as language, I wonder when we use Flemish, and when we use Dutch. There are a 2 cases:
1. We use Flemish only when it's mentioned on the cover (most Animation pictures)
2. We also use Flemish if the movie/TV series was made in Belgium (dutch speaking part) (eg: Flikken, Witse, F.C. De Kampioenen,...)
What's the opinion of the other people from Belgium and The Netherlands?
Personnaly I prefer only option 1, but it's best to have it discussed before we recontribute (as soon as it's possible of course..) | | |  |

| | Posted: | | | | I think it is pretty straight forward myself: only use Flemish if the cover / DVD menu gives it as a language option.
The (possible) problem with option 2 is that although a film / series was made in Belgium, that does not automatically mean that everyone in the cast speaks Flemish.
For instance in Flikken Boudewijn de Groot appears who speaks Dutch, not Flemish. |
