| Posted: | | | | Saw that. Can't wait. Motorcycles, day/night, more new challenges, weather effects. The rumor is the next patch is for trophies. Then the Island patch (they're adding a new island). And there's a "secret" pack coming "sooner than you think". Got to love free updates! | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. You mean trophies with that upcoming update or with a smaller one a few weeks later? Trophies will not be in Thursday update. But they're supposed to be before the Island update. I'm not sure what the secret thing is. They said it's nothing they've discussed in public before (which rules out the planes they've been playing around with ), so no one really knows what it will be. Have you seen the planes? I saw a video on youtube somewhere. I'm not sure what the gameplay would be like if they do it, but it's looks really cool! Found it! | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Thanks for the video! ...and the two times the camera in the video moved it appeared as if the video was/is on the criteriongames.com website! These guys are indeed very cool for all they stuff they are adding for the same price of admission. Although, one could be inclined to say that they gave us the unfinished game on disc and are now simply completing it | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Although, I may need a few days more, as I often get time outs when the updates are fresh Well... I had again trouble with an update (yes, I own PAIN), getting the time-out error 80710736 all the time... So, I googled again, looking for "optimized" network settings with regards to the PS3. Again and again I would read people saying that a firmware update for their router helped; me shaking my head as my router has the latest availlable firmware applied (not exactly new, though). However, eventually I gave in and tried taking the router out of the equation, connecting the PS3 directly to my ADSL modem. As I wouldn't tell the stroy otherwise, yes, that helped and the download succeeded on first try! So, if you have trouble with downloads occasionally, you may want to look at your router and stop blaming those busy PSN servers... Now I am wondering if I really need to replace my otherwise perfectly working ASUS WL-500g router or just connect to the internet directly when a big update is coming (the small ones <100MB are no problem)... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | I just tested out the new bikes. They are awesome!
No boost (that was announced) and no power break (which is a bit weird as first). And the first few challenges are somewhat easy. But it is great fun. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I won't be able to try them for about another 10 hours. But I've had fun reading the comments on Criterion's forums. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks to both of you, I was able to complete all my bike challenges last night. So I'm now completely done with the new bikes (offline and online). | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | So now you are waiting for the island... Well, I saw the trophies list and could imagine there could be a few you'd still have to get, despite the whole thing being retroactive. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I still have my second game on my wife's account too. I finished it last weekend offline, but still only have about 5-10 online challenges done.
To make things interesting, I did the second game using nothing but the Cavalry (first car). Except where that wasn't possible of course like the burning routes. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Not really. I did want to go through the game again and try something new (like only using the first car). It was fun finding all the smashes, jumps and billboards again. Not so fun doing all the showtimes again (I hate those). I'll tell you that the races got very hard when I had my Burnout license. The other cars got better, but I was stuck in the first one. That were many races I had to try 10-15 times or more. I've done a few online challenges. But I don't feel the need to get all 420 again. It's something I'll leave lying around for when I'm feeling bored. Then I can jump online and try for a few. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
