| Posted: | | | | Thanks for reading this. I am trying to create a report or be able to filter my movies based on the "Watched By" criteria. Does anyone have a report that lists movies by the category "Watched By"? I am trying to create two reports that will: (1) list all of the movies that I own and who from my family has watched that movie (there are three persons in my family). I am not sure if the "Watched By" can have separated columns for each family member or if it will have one column that has all three names in it (or one, two or no names if everyone did not watch the movie at the same time); (2) create a separate report, by each family member, showing the movies that each family member (separately) has not watched yet. That way we can look at the list to see what we haven't watched instead of having to go through the whole list each time to see what movies we havent watched.
I have never created a report so if you can give me any help, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, please dont assume I know what you are saying so please be very specific (step by step) in giving me help in creating this report.
On last request, is there any way of filtering based on "Watched By". If you know how to do this I would appreciate you telling me how to do that too.
I will thank you ahead of time for any help or advise you can give me.

| Posted: | | | | You can filter on who watched, look under the Personal tab of the filters window. If the filter window is not showing, Ctrl+F will bring it up.
I do not see a way to list who has watched a film in the report tool. The best you can do for now is to filter on a user, then print a report "as filtered" for that individual.
Hope that helps. | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | If you don't mind scripting, here are a couple of ideas: (1) Plugin DVDProfileLoop(2) "mithi" has deomonstrated some powerful scripting techniques called XSLT that allows you to quickly make reports from XML. Just find one post and use his profile to review a bunch of examples scattered around the forum. Very cool stuff. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
