| Posted: | | | | My fiancee and I have our collections in two separate databases. Is it possible to merge them? We each have several hundred titles and I'd hate to have to re-enter them manually. |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry...I searched but didn't find any hits on the topic, but just found a similar question with a solution by looking manually....I'll give it a try......it was 'restore specific profiles' method.....does this work if the databases are named differently? |

| Posted: | | | | It sounds like you've found the right method already. Make sure you have backups of your databases in case anything goes wrong.
Edit: and no, it makes no difference what your databases are called. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the reply....at least I don't feel like I'm talking to myself now.... I just did it, worked perfectly. I did a restart just to be sure as suggested in the other thread and everything was there.....Excellent. Now when we go shopping, everything will be on just one of our phones!!! Love the program!!!!! |

| Posted: | | | | I did notice one peculiarity. If you list by collection number, there are duplicates. IOW, it preserved the collection numbers from each database, so now there are 2, #1's, etc. I didn't see any way to globally renumber the whole database. Any ideas there?? If you look at my collection online, you will see what I mean. |

| Posted: | | | | There is a way to globally reallocate all the collection numbers - unfortunately I'm at work so can't look at the program to remind me how! Try under the "Collection" menu, I have a feeling it's in there somewhere. |

You then get a new window with some options prior to renumbering, like sorting by purchase date if you want to keep your numbers chronological. | Posted: | | | | Yep again.....thank you both. The renumber option took care of it.....I just hadn't seen the option. I think I'm good to go on all accounts now.....just need to upload the new database to my phone. |
