the imdb database is no point off reference, the imdb database is polluted with errors.
mixing this data with other data found is making things even more confusing.

That's true - but Mlr still has a point - we can't blindly use the CLT in this case as all their credits are getting merged together.

Of course you can use IMDb as a reference for documentation. It is as valid for this purpose as any other third party data source.

Yes, you can use IMDB as a source, but not as sole source and you should always make sure that the other "sources" you give don't have IMDB as source for their information.
Still three or more sites crossrefering each other don't make false information true.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
