| Posted: | | | | I always think of "The Alamo" (the first one). Not one of Widmark's greatest moments, but it was the first film where I noticied him (48 years ago yesterday...)
And yes, he will be missed! | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

| Posted: | | | | That giggle he gave upon casting the elderly wheelchair-bound lady down the staircase in his debut performance in "Kiss of Death" typecast a versatile actor for years. Eventually, through "Judgement at Nuremberg" and others, he would get less villainous parts. A non-violent man cast in many violent roles. His legacy will endure. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, Richard was a great actor. I liked him in "The Alamo", "The Bedford Incedent", "How the West was Won" and a few others. Sadly, there are no new actors that can replace the caliber of the older classic actors. He will be missed. |
