Does anyone know if there is a way to Flag more than one DVD Title at one time other than clicking each individual check box?  I've tried the old "Click Shift Click" .... no go!
My problem is this - I'm trying to print out individual reports for all titles grouped alphabeticaly (all the "A's" on one page, "B's" on the next page, or two, however many in takes to group those specific Titles together, etc.)  In the filters window on the "General" tab I'll type whichever letter I want to group together in the Title box, A's for example.  All the Titles starting with A are then filtered and showup in my list. That's all good, but it also includes Titles that start with the word "a", for example "A Beautiful Mind" which should be grouped with the B's, not good. So I thought I would just flag all the Titles that should be in the "A" group and use the print Flagged entries only, but with a long list in any particular grouping this can be a little crazy, and then I have to go back and Un-Flag all the entries after I print the report.
So...back to the original question....
Is there a way to Flag and Un-Flag more than one Title at a time?
Or....Is there a way to exclude the Titles that don't belong, based on my example above? That would be the best solution.
Or...Is there a way to print everything BUT the Flagged entries? Because that list would be much shorter.
Any thoughts?

There are options to flag or unflag all above or below.
So I suppose if you wanted to flag all B titles, you could flag all titles, then go to the last A title and select unflag all above, then go to the first C title and select unflag all below.
Would that do what you want, I have to admit I got a bit lost when reading your post!

Edit: I just checked and my response is wrong, I apologise.
You can only flag above or below, there is no unflag. So to get all the B titles, you would have to select the last A title and flag all above, then select the first C and select flag all below, then invert flags.

Ctrl+A or Collection->Flags->Flag All Filtered flags all shown profiles at once.
Ctrl-Shift-U or Collection->Flags->Unflag All unflags all profiles.

Ctrl+Shift+I or Collection->Flags->Invert flags

Sorry about the confusion!
I didn't know about the Flagging options under the Collection Menu, I think I'll be able to work with those.  I'll try anyway.

Thanks for the help!

Another option would be to use Tags. With 25 different tags depending on the Title. So you could have all the A's tagesd wth a tag called titleA etc.

Then when you wanted to print just the C's you could select a single tag.

may be a lot easier..

Additionally, as it wasn't mentioned, and does help with flagging. If you press the space bar it will flag (or unflag) the current title and then move focus to the next title in the list.

But I'd probably also suggest doing the tag thing (I've been considering setting up tags for it). And once you add the tag, you can flag all the titles that start with A then under the Collection->Flagged (i believe thats where its located) you can choose edit tags and set the tags for all the profiles that are flagged to set the 'A' tag for them

ps. @ pauls42 just curious as to what letter doesn't deserve a tag?
