Why are we making this offer and how does it work?

With the demise of HD, many of you will be transitioning to Blu-ray and we don't believe that it is fair to penalize you for buying the HD version. At the same time, many of you value the HD DVD discs that you own and use the standard definition side of the combo disc in standard DVD players -- a feature that is not supported by Blu-ray at this time. This upgrade program allows you to keep your existing disc -- with a twist. You must return the paper casewrap. You must exchange for the same program that you own. You cannot upgrade to a different title.

Instructions to Upgrade your HD DVDs to Blu-ray Discs:

1) Click this link (PDF) and read the instructions.
2) You may use the optional mailing label found on this document or address your envelope by hand.
In the envelope you must include the actual cover of each of the titles you are exchanging (photo-copies will not be accepted). We do not need your disc or your case. Just the paper sleeve will suffice. Instructions for removing the cover are included in the document in step 1.
3) Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process your upgrade order if you send via first class mail.
4) When we receive your envelope we will ship your Blu-ray disc(s).
5) Your total cost is $11.95 per copy, plus $.99 S&H flat rate -- regardless of the number of discs being exchanged.
