| Posted: | | | | I'm using Firefox and/or Explorer and result is same.
When viewing my collection with web browser, those small cover images are zoomed little bigger (approx 107%) from original dimensions. Original quality of those small cover images is not good and they get even worse after zooming bigger.
Is this a bug or intentional feature on page layout? Or does my browser has wrong settings?
I'm using online collection quite rarely so this is not big problem to me. | | | Last edited: by JaLe |

| Posted: | | | | Just checked your online collection with Opera, everythings fine there. So probably it's your browser's settings. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | If you use FF you can hold CTRL and use the mousewheel to change the zoom.
As goblinsdoitall said, you should check your browser-settings as well (e.g. charmap settings, website style).
Does this only appear on you collection site, or is this a general problem with images on other websites? | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | I checked all of your collections and problem is there also.
I haven't noticed this kind of error any where else than in Invelos Online Collections.
I have default settings in my browser.
I'll give you an example: e.g. skipnet50 collection "I Love Lucy: 4th ..." from Firefox Tools sheet select Page Info and there Media-sheet, highlight last item (image) in the list. => Specified Dimensions is 160px X 225px and Actual Dimensions is 149px X 210px.
Like you see image on the page is zoomed little bit bigger. This makes low quality images even worse.
If Invelos site isn't making this error, please, every info is welcome. Page Style and Character Encoding doesn't have any effect on this. |

It may be someting harmless or something wrong in the understanding... However, if you right-click on the images on the webpage, you may get 160px X 225px as image dimensions. If you then select Save Picture As, save it to your harddrive and then check the dimensions again you will get 149px X 210px. The answer is simple. If you look at the source of the page you will find, that the images are displayed with a forced width of (no surprise here) 160px. So, Invelos is taking whatever "thumbnail" size the images have and displays them all at the same width. Mystery solved. So, JaLe's rquests stands: Do not change imge dimensions on profile pages of online collection. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

That is because the enlargement I described in my previous post is the same for everyone in every browser (provided no plugins forpicture handling are being used...). | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | So, it's Invelos job to fix this minor "error" if they want to do it. Right?
Is Ken reading this or do I need to inform him via PM? |

| Posted: | | | | Based on what you are describing, versus what I and others are seeing, Jale. I don't believe the problem is with Ken, but with your computer. But I am not sure where it would be.
I can zoom on the covers but they aren't automatically zoomed and I am seeing the same thing reported from others.

Is Ken reading this or do I need to inform him via PM? Yes, only Invelos has the ability to fix this. Ken is basically reading this, but alternatively you could try to PM him. Unless he has done this on purpose or he wouldn't want to mess with the layout, there is a small chance that the code adjustment will be done. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | Cool. Thanks Ken. But...
There is still same "error" in some of the profiles.
Seems to be that width of some images is less than 150px and those are zoomed in 150px. So, you probably locked image width in that 150px? Can you check again this issue? Maybe remove totally that fixed width, if it is possible? |
