I am doing Season 3 profile and I was wondering a few things.

1. Does the theme get credited? I am not sure if the theme song was written for the series or not, does any one know?

This is what the credits for the theme says.

"Theme by Charles Fox

Song "Making Our Dreams Come True"
Lyrics by Norman Gimbel
Music by Charles Fox"

Also the music credits continues as follows.

Music by Jack Hayes

Additional Music by Frank Comtock

Recording Artists Contributing to the Series are:
Ike Cole
Cyndi Grecco
Eddie Mekka

I know that Jack Hayes gets credited, but what about the others?

Thanks.

I believe it's an original theme song. I would credit Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox as Song Writers.

Additionally I would credit Jack Hayes as Composer for the music credit.

What if the theme song was written by a group?
For instance, in Buffy there is a "Theme by Nerf Herder" credit.

Surprisingly, though, Nerf Herder are credited in only three profiles. Do we credit groups?

We credit groups (eg. The Rolling Stones) but not companies (Glen Glenn Sound). We also credit llamas...

We credit groups and animals in the cast but not in the crew credits.

That is interesting... would like to see where you determined that per the rules... If I remember correctly... the Llamas is in the crew for one of the Monty Python movies... and they are in the crew credits for DVD Profiler.

It is not written in any rules but I have not seen any llama in any Invelos profile. They may have been in some profiles in the Intervocative database though.

Even if they were not uploaded to the new database... don't mean they can't be. As you said... it is not written anywhere in the rules that they are not allowed... if they are credited that way they ARE allowed in the database.

If they are credited and they are people then they may be added. Both of this is questioned.
