i give up: i create a simple listing report and a header but the header shows only on the first page of the report. how can i change this?
and why I don't see any content in the header from downloaded reports (the header shows up when i generate the report but did not when i try to edit it.

which one is the page header? i have the german version and i see only three times the word "header" (kopfzeile) and "footer" (fußzeile).
if i check the header-button on the right (header nr. 3 ? ) i see it on every page when i generate the report (good!), but not the content i made (bad!). maybe it is the content from the person who originally made the report. but if i want to edit it i see my personal content. |

i create a complete new report and the report header is the only one that shows content (on the first side). The other two headers shows absolutely nothing! same problem on 3 computers.

Create a new report, and in the General page, check the boxes next to Report Header, Page Header, and Column Header. If the translation you're using doesn't have these as options, try another translation file or temporarily switch to English.
Next, on the Content tab, you should see tabs for DVD Item, Column Header, Page Header, and Report Header. Place a text item on each and change the Captions to Item, Column, Page, and Report. Save and close, then run the report. You should see on the first page "Page", then "Report", then "Column" twice, then two columns of "Item" under each.

Problem is solved and we are both right. It works the way you told me but there is a bug in the programm too.
Your way works fine in the ENGLISH version but not in the GERMAN version!!
In the german version you can't place text seperatly for each header. If you write "Page" in the page header you see the same text in the "Report" and "Column" Header. If you change that text, it changes in the other headers too.
Mabye that explains why I don't see the content on the "page" or "column" header tabs although it shows up in the running report. I think you can check this quickly yourself. Maybe it is something for a future update of the programm?
