| | Posted: | | | | Season sets seem to be coming out with more volume sets as opposed to the whole season as once. When we enter the information into the profiler do we start over with the episode listings? For example The Fugitve Season 1 was divided into Volumes 1 and 2. Volume 1 ended with episode 15, which is noted in the disc descriptions and episode dividers that I provided in my update. Now when Volume 2 comes out do we start at "Episode 1" or do we start the listing at "Episode 16?" | | | We're on a mission from God.

If the DVD or DVD packaging specifically numbers the episodes, use that number in the divider. Otherwise, episodes are to be numbered sequentially in the order that they appear on the DVD(s) in the set, with the number sequence carrying over from disc to disc. Do not number non-episodic features such as movies or alternate cuts unless they are given specific numbers on the DVD or DVD packaging. | | | We're on a mission from God.

| | Posted: | | | | The set that I did before the new rules were published, I continued the numbering for the whole season across volumes. I don't recall there being much discussion about multi-volume seasons in the rule development. It looks like the rules would require you to start numbering at 1 again with Volume 2 unless it uses a different numbering scheme. | | | | Kevin |
