I was watching Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 and during the opening credits there appears to be a guy teaching aerobics and he looks very much like the actor/comedian "Carrot Top"

He appears on screen from 8:45 to 9:05 when Jackie Gleason punches the guy.

If I could cap it for you I would, but I can't.

Same body type, similar big hair and mannerisms.

Does anyone know if that is him or not?

Doubtful.

Carrot Top was born in 1965 which would put him at around 17-18 years old when Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 was produced.

I don't own Part 3 but perhaps it's Richard Simmons?

The guy does look like he's a teenager, so it still could be him.

On Carrot Top's website bio he says his career started at an open mic night in college, but he didn't do any standup outside Florida until 1990.  His first screen credit is 1995.

I think he's playing every night for the rest of eternity at Luxor in Las Vegas. Shouldn't be a hard ticket to get from the half-off or better venders.

Maybe I'm out of step with the currently hip, but why would anyone care about either Carrot Top or Smokey and the Bandit Part 3?
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
