| | Posted: | | | | For those who do scans of covers for contribution, getting the colors right as well as the contrast and hue, etc., here's a great little program that can help you do just that.
Its called 'Monitor Calibration Wizard 1.0'. It walks you through a series of adjustments to your monitor, so that what you see on screen is exactly what Windows thinks you are seeing based on actual color values. It does an excellent job, and will make it easier to get the colors on your scans matched to the colors, etc., you are actually seeing.

| | Posted: | | | | My monitor only needed a slight tweak, sweet.
I found that if you slightly blur your vision, it makes it easier to find the blend point. Also, take a couple minutes between each color adjustment doing random surfing or looking elsewhere (but not a fixed point) to prevent color burn-in which may affect your adjustments. |
