Sometimes it's really difficult interpreting whether some words on the cover are part of the title, are the edition, or neither of both.
One example is the Las Vegas boxes. They all have some extra words: "Uncut & Uncensored", "Unseen & Exposed", etc... Since in the Netherlands locality the different seasons are not consistently profiled, I was wondering what those words really are...
1. They are part of the title.
2. They should be set in the Ediiton field.
3. Neither, they don't belong in the profile.

Curious what you guys think

Looks to be a very clear outcome . I'll add the Editions then. BTW, they were already there in the US Profiles too, but didn't want to influence the poll by saying so.
I guess that Ken Park - Uncensored then also has Uncensored in the Edition, although I remember having submitted that in the past and No voters saying that that wasn't an edition.

It sounds to me like you'll have to decide if the "extra words" describe a difference to existing editions, or are just advertisements.
With your examples I would say that "Uncut" belongs to the Edition Field, if and only if there is another existing edition. Whereas words like "unseen" should be rated as advertisement.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

An opinion not fully supported by the rules.

"Advertisments" "Marketing Gimmicks" call them what you want, they are valid editions and should be entered as such.

It has also been discussed many times over and decided that there need not be another version in order to enter an edition.

@ Repter - Stick with the poll results. They are pretty clear.
