Do the contents of a booklet count as a "Disc Feature?"

The title "1776: Restored Directors Cut" makes mention of Production Notes on the back cover.  While auditing the title I could not find them anywhere on the disc, so I unchecked the Production Notes "Disc Feature" and chalked it off as a mistake on the cover.

During voting someone voted no and pointed out that they are in a 4-page booklet that came with the release.  I didn't have that booklet in my copy, so had no idea until they pointed it out.

But this begs a question: Is this really a "Disc Feature?"  And if so, doesn't that mean that any release that came with a booklet with picture art or any text that could be called a production note should have the production notes and gallery disc feature boxes checked?  That certainly has not been the case in the past that I can tell, and to me isn't the intent of the fields.  These should be reserved for content of the actual DVD itself and anything else falls under "other" if mentioned at all.

Comments?

For reference from the rules:

Disc Features

Production Notes/Bios
Textual Notes about the Film Production Cast, Crew and/or Character Biographies/Filmographies

Gallery
Photo Gallery
Still Gallery
Storyboard Gallery
Poster Art

Occasionally, I've seen folks add collectible booklet or some other such description to other features.  Personally, it's not a feature to me.  Neither are lobby cards, posters, production stills, or any other facet of packaging.  I may be in the minority on this, but I don't need nor want a database to track all the junk that came with my movie, I just want to track the movies.

AFAIK, the 'Production Notes' checkbox is only intended for notes encoded on the disc, accessible via the remote and a TV set or monitor.

Booklets are valid entries for the 'other features' field, but their content is not entered into the check boxes.

To go a little further, here is the rule for what is considered "other" in the disc features data:

Examples of valid Other Features:
Trivia Tracks
Radio Spots
Film Introductions (which were not part of the original theatrical release)
Indications for multiple versions of a film

Notice that all of these are on the disc content items as well.

But my submission was declined due (I can only assume) to the removal of the production notes checkbox.  I did mention in the contribution notes that the notes are most definitely not on the disc itself, but that apparently wasn't enough.

Now, I don't necessarily have anything against stating that there are posters, lobby cards, or blow-up dolls under the "other" listing, but I just don't see them qualifying as gallery, production notes, or storyboard comparison for disc feature purposes.

A Booklet should be acceptable in Other features, it is NOT a Disc Feature but it is Legitimately an Other Feature. It is definitely NOT production Notes.

I just resubmitted with the production notes box unchecked, and added "4-Page Booklet with Production Notes" under other features.  That should make everybody happy.

In fact I think it would make you happy, as it's highly underrated.  I saw it first in elementary school and despite dreading watching a musical was impressed with it then, and even accidentally learned a few things.

I would definitely agree the others here.  But of course your Other Features should not be too long or it ends up being a description and I don't think that is what the text box is intended for.

It would be nice to have a 'Booklet' checkbox listed under Features, but yeah...it should only go under 'Other Features' currently.
