| Posted: | | | | One of the features I used on a daily basis from the older version of DVD Profiler 2.4.0 was under "Export" there was a choice of creating a .csv file, which in the new version has been replaced by .xml only. I had been using the Collection.csv file as a basis for a portable list of all of my DVD's using HanDBase 3.0 on my Palm Tungsten T5. Also, in the older version you could choose which data to export; in the new version this has also been eliminated. Since the DVD Profiler Mobile only exists for Windows Mobile-based PDA's and not Palm, in moving to the new version of DVD Profiler I have lost the capability of exporting my DVD list to my PDA. Are there any other users who similarly have been disappointed by the elimination of this feature? Other than that, I am very pleased with DVD Profiler 3.0. Is there any possibility that exporting to a .csv file be restored in the new version? | | | R. Alan Grier, M.D. |

I don't think it's a plugin (or I must have missed it). It's just a tool for generating csv based on the XML output of DP. Then again, I suspect that Ken did this on purpose to push his mobile version. So I jumped and registered for that one. Have not regretted it a minute, as I now have my complete collection details with me instead of just the titles . |

As mentioned elsewhere, you missed it. There is now an actual plugin for CSV exports. Found in the Plugin forum of course. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
