I recently ordered 'Umi Ga Kikoeru' from Japan and found to entries of the profile in the dtabase. On closer inspection, I realised that the two UPCs were different interpretations on the same code which is confused by starting with a letter:

The two UPCs in the database are:

7-495924-198026
4-959241-980267

Common sense tells me that it's the profile starting with the '4' that I should use and that the second profile should be removed from the database, but the addition of the letter at the start has me wondering if there's something I don't know about going on.

Is it as obvious as it looks?
This is a sig... ... ... yay...

Don't understand? Maybe DVDProfilerWiki.org does!

Both UPC's are correct by the EAN/UPC calculator Jykke provided a link to earlier.

Link: digiCalcEAN13.htm

In my opinion your common sence is most likely to be correct, use the 4-xxxx
We are all at the same age, only at different time...
