| | Posted: | | | | I searched and could not find a discussion about this. The photo database appears to be local only in that I have to set each and every photo myself if I want them. I assume this is because having an "official" database much like the cover scans would be too much work as everyone would be arguing over which photos should be used for each person and I tend to agree with that.
But let's say someone goes to the trouble of putting in photos for everyone they can find (I'm in the process of this now), is there anyway for them to share this with someone who doesn't want to go through that? Or even if they can download the database I have, they can always fix the ones they don't like, but at least it would give them a huge starting point. Is there anyway I can share this after I do this or am I basically just doing this for my own collection?
I found the "Actors" and "ActorsAssgn" databases in my "My Documents" folder and I assume I could just share those with others. But are those the complete databases of all actors or just the ones for my particular collection of movies? If it's all actors then it might work, but if it's just my particular collection it probably wouldn't do much good.

| | Posted: | | | | You are doing it for yourself, for EXACTLY the reasons you spelled out. My choice of photos may not be the same as you or anyone else, not to mention if we had an official database of headshots many times you are going to have copyright issues to deal with.

Or would providing me with that answer put you into those mentioned copyright issues?
