Reassigning collection numbers

Hello!

Am I doing something wrong or is there no option in v3.0.2 to reassign the collection numbers simply by decreasing every number by 1 following the gap made by removing a DVD from the collection?

I do not want to use any of the purchase date/release date/title options.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Perform a fresh backup, then try some of the Partial Re-assignment options. If one doesn't work, restore the backup and try again. That's what I would do in that situation.

In the "Collection" menu, there an option called "Reassign collection numbers" and when that opens you have the option for a partial reassignment with check boxes for removing gaps, removing duplicates etc.

Is that not what you want?

Hmm, a first quick test seems to work fine...

I swear with a previous version, reassigning the numbers resulted in a different order than anticipated. When I saw that 3.0.3 had no new further ordering options, I assumed it still wouldn't work.
