Suddenly, many of my DVD’s I added whit the backup file from version 2.4 don’t exist in de database anymore! When I re-add them by UPC they are unknown.
Since version 3.0 I became an unlimited member, so it is possible that I contribute all the missing titles, but that is a lot of work. And my question is: is this necessary or am I missing something here?

<Sigh> I would suggest a cursory search of the forums, but....

Since going "live" a few weeks ago, this database is being built from scratch. Which means not all the titles are in it, since Invelos (this company) is separate from IVS (the other company).

Thanks... that explains a lot! But why start from scratch?

As Kevin said they are 2 separate companies. The old Db belongs to IVS, so it is simply not available for Invelos to use

As lyonsden said, legal reasons mostly I imagine, but it does mean a lot of illegal entries can be wiped out in one go since the checking software is better now and hopefully they won't get re-submitted.
