i have a 2wire router which i do not know how to configure to allow application to connect, could anybody let me know how to do this, wha ports are used etc

many thanks I would highly recommend that you get on the 'net and see if the manufacturer of that router has a website, and if so, go there and download the manual for that unit. It isn't particularly hard to configure a router per se, but if you don't have the right information on how to access the thing you'll never get it. | | | John

many thanks Strange since I too have a 2wire router and had no trouble connecting (for anything really). I've run DVD Profiler on two computers now with no problems... What Internet service are you using? Qwest? Anyway, I'd look for the online manual. Maybe yours is set at a higher security level? |
