Just testing a backup on my usb stick to port database to DVDP on my Vista PC.

I can choose removable media and the backup starts. It then asks to put anb empty media in G: (my usb stick) and wants to erase G:\

Is this intentional or just a bug?

Just klick "OK", it will work just fine.

Don't know if it's a bug or a feature, and don't really care as long as it works.

If the backup will fit on the single media, don't choose removable media and instead just browse to that directory to store the backup file.

Ok Ken, tried that and works perfect. Just got confused since the USB stick was available in the "removable media" section.

I received my new Vista PC today. I reinstalled 3.01 and did a backup from my USB drive, and it went smoothly.

Hopefully it'll go much more smoothly with 2 gigs of ram and a core 2 duo.
