Hi,

In Vista I cannot backup the database. The error is '2002-08-26' is not a valid date
and the backup fails.

Now, I also loaded the program on my XP Laptop and it works fine there. I can backup and restore file, no error.

Also the file backed-up from the XP notebook, loads fine into the Vista desktop. But I cannot backup on the Vista machine which is the machine DVD profiler needs to live on.

Any suggestions etc please.

Thanks.
Regards,

Peter D.

My Vista (64 bit English) have no problem creating backups. I do use the date format yyyy-mm-dd just like the one you show, so maybe that is why it works.

Hi,

Thanks Lars, that was the problem.

In Vista I had set the date format to 29/MAR/2007. When I re-set it to 29/03/2007 the backup worked fine.

I minor bug. I can live with the normal date format in Vista.

Both my XP laptop and my Vista Ultimate PC are English with date set to dd-MMM-yy (29-MAR-07).

I can backup and restore from both back a forth with no problems....

Hi Ron,

Yep, Vista has a few bugs I guess. I have been playing with settings tonight and when I change my date to dd/mmm/yyyy DVDProfiler will not backup. Change Vista's date format back to dd/mm/yyyy and DVDProfiler works fine.

I am in Australia, so that profile in Vista may have a bug that your profile does not.

Anyway, DVDProfiler 3 is working well now and I am very pleased.

Just as info,  I am running International English Vista Ultimate Build 6000 with all critical and recommended patches.
Again, regional settings set to US and then I modified date time to dd-MMM-yy and 2400 clock.
