When installing DVDProfiler 3.0.1 in Vista, I get the following error:

I have MyDocuments mapped to F:\ instead of the normal C:\Users\<username>\Documents -- I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Can anyone help?

Yes, that is the problem.  The installation needs to write to that directory.  Reset the My Documents directory to the default directory to install.

And afterwards, I can change the folder back?

Is this slated to be resolved, or is this considered to be an expected way of doing the install?

I don't think there's anything we can do about it at present.  I expect that changing it back and moving the files after the install might work, but I'm not sure.

I suspect that's a bug in Vista...

But did you change the location of your user profile to a drive root?

I changed my home folder to the E:drive and everything seems to work perfect.

How did you go about doing that?  I only changed MyDocs.  I right clicked "Documents" and modified the Location tab.

Do you do the same, or did you change the entire user home (in the Local Users and Groups MMC, I assume)?
