Quote: I'm currently auditing the new Santo boxset. It consist of 8 movies on 4 discs. Per the rules we should not enter disc level profiles. But there are disc level features that are not directly connected to either movie on the disc. How should those be documented?
My current idea is that I enter them on the first profile of the disc. Anyone agree or disagree? Santo box set |-- Disc 1 Movie 1 |-- Disc 1 Movie 2 |-- Disc 2 Movie 1 |-- Disc 2 Movie 2 |-- Disc 3 Movie 1 |-- Disc 3 Movie 2 |-- Disc 4 Movie 1 |-- Disc 4 Movie 2 Obviously, but that's not the question.

Figured I would do an update. It took a few months to get pension papers filed and payments started. After the trailer I bought a truck to haul it. Took a few short trips to Michigan and Arizona. Found a nice little RV park in Arizona so I decided to park here for a couple of months, even though no wi-fi, over the air digital or dish, completely dark. So I went and got a Verizon Orbic for wi-fi. So I've been able to stream Paramount+, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Brought a few TV series and films with me.
During the day I usually hit the road sight seeing. Wildlife I've spotted are Elk, Wild Horses, Coyotes, Bald Eagles, Western Jack Rabbits, Antelope, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer. Out walking the area I've come across Wolf and big cat tracks but haven't seen any. I am up in the mountains.
So now that I've parked I'll be doing a few more contributions. | Posted: Topic Replies: 7, Topic Views: 3962 |

This is not a type of credit that has appeared in the last few years. I'm pretty sure the films were in the database when the crew grid was established and it wasn't included in the costume designer list. | Posted: Topic Replies: 48, Topic Views: 6626 |

Quote: Just passing through and I noticed the original post. Today, the CLT produces 44 Titles for Rick Dano and 19 Titles for Richard Dano.
What does "inability to deal with TV show child profiles" mean? What would a program need to do, in order to "handle" them?
CLTBoss has access to both the raw CLT and the underlying profile database. So, if a program can handle TV show child profiles, then CLTBoss should be able to do that, right? (But so far as I know, nobody has requested it)
Is it worth the effort to explore this?
might be easier to just delete all disc level child profiles of TV series in the database. | Posted: Topic Replies: 17, Topic Views: 11510 |

Quote: Shouldn't the original title of a TV Series just be the title of the show without any season/series info?
I've never seen a show which had the season info on-screen in the opening and/or end credits. And this way all seasons, as well as the separate discs, no matter how packaged by the distributor of which language they're in will have the same original title....
No, because then the DB considers show season 1, show season 5 & show, the complete series all different releases of the same thing when they are releases of distinct material. It would cause a bunch of false flags as duplicates.
No it wouldn't | Posted: Topic Replies: 24, Topic Views: 4831 |

Bad idea. That would make, for example, all 7 seasons of 30 Rock, ONE credit when using the CLT. Each season is 1 credit, not each series. Another example, if The Incredible Hulk's first season were released as The Incredible Hulk: Season 1 in it's country of origin (USA), but released as The Incredible Hulk: Season One overseas, then adding an original title of The Incredible Hulk: Season 1 is appropriate to link the 2 together as 1 credit. I mean, we all agree that Season 1 and Season One are the same season/credit! TV series/seasons, in my opinion, should be treated differently original title-wise.
Individual season profiles would have different produced years. Giving you 7 credits with the original title as 30 Rock. Would only be 1 credit for complete series (but that would only be a handful).
example Actor X credited in 1 episode in each season 7 & 8
