Currently watching:
Picard: Season 3, after the disappointing second season this is off to a better start and it promises to re-unite almost the entire TNG cast.
Yellowjackets: Season 1, so far more drama than horror/mystery. Christina Ricci is having fun with her role.

Just finished:
Three-Body, a Chinese scifi show on Youtube, a very slow (30 episodes) adaptation of the book The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu.

The early days of DVD were crazy. I paid more then than I pay for 4K blu-rays now.

TV series seasons were especially expensive. I remember the first time I paid more than $100 ($118.97 to be exact) for a title, it was Cosmos by Carl Sagan. I still own it (and I have watched it).

I recently installed DVD Profiler on a new Sony Xperia 10 IV. (Sideloaded, as in installed from an apk I had previously saved to my GDrive.) After ignoring the old application warning, it installed fine and is fully working.

If so, he could have adapted the software to include streaming services.

If it's the one pictured below, then it's from Brazil, at least according to laserdisken.dk and they are usuallly reliable.

An open matte presentation should be entered as full screen.

But not all 1.85:1 films used soft mattes. Some were hard matted to 1.85:1. And some were just butchered on home video regardless.

Thus, I wouldn't assume anything. I would go by the packaging unless your research shows you otherwise.

I thought the cover of Humans above looked familiar and sure enough, it's a remake of the Swedish show "Äkta människor", aka "Real Humans".

Watching: Irma Vep
Not quite sure what to make of it. After two episodes I watched the film with the same name before continuing. Maybe I should just go back to the source Les Vampires.

Re-watching: Seinfeld

I know this is out on blu-ray but the screenshots convinced me that a HD transfer is quite unnecessary.

The fact that the child profiles are optional makes all other arguments irrelevant imho. That tells me that all bonus features should be listed in the main profile. Otherwise, they cannot be optional.

As for region info, I do use the region coding of the blu-ray disc locally for the main profile, if I can be bothered to check it.
