| Posted: | | | | TurboCLT 1.3.0Now shows Alternate names and Names from common name thread. See help file for more info. Profile entries color coded. Green = name found in normal Profiler name credit (no Credited-As). Red = name found in Credited-As. Searched name highlighted in Display profile so it's easier to find. Also fixed some cosmetic anomalies. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Gunnar, Looks like I get this error message whenever a minus character is in the name, like "Lee Cheol-min" or "Sook-yin Lee". Can you look into this? Also, it looks like your searches are cached within the app | | | Last edited: by marcelb7 |

Quote: Also, it looks like your searches are cached within the app Could you elaborate on that? It starts with the loginscreen, where your login name appears in the dropdown (luckily no password was stored! ) Then these searches appear, when I click on the search bar. I've never searched for Alan (or Allan) Smithee, as far as I know. When I go to the credit lookup search in my regular browser, there are no searches stored. | | | Last edited: by marcelb7 |

| Posted: | | | | The inability to lookup values that contains a hyphen (minus) appears to be a bug in Microsoft's Dictionary control. Not sure if/how I can work around that. I look into it further.
The dropdown is a "feature" of Microsoft's WebView2 browser control, so nothing that I have purposely introduced. I agree that it is annoying. I'll see if it can be turned off. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | TurboCLT 1.3.1I had to do some dirty programming to work around that hyphen problem. It seems to work fine now, but please report any anomalies that you find. Dropdowns turned off. Required a little guesswork, so hopefully this will work as intended. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

I have found the dropdown history to be useful. This is just a comment for grins, not a request for change or complaint. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Well, I figured thar the average user wouldn't need to lookup the same person multiple times (like I did during testing). But I'm open to making it configurable, if you or anyone else requests it. It's not a big deal. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

| Posted: | | | | TurboCLT 1.3.2I found a sneaky little bug that I fixed. And while I was digging into the code I also implemented an option to turn the dropdown history on or off. Note that it will come into effect the next time the CLT page is loaded into the program. I should also confess that the hyphen problem turned out not to be a bug in Microsoft's Dictionary control after all, but a side effect of some other code in my program. Microsoft is by no means perfect, but I shouldn't blame them for something that was actually my own fault. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

You would think I would remember this from the last time, but sadly I didn't. The good news is you didn't mind telling me again. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |
