When 4K UHDs was first released the specifications by the BDA Associations was such that region-coding was not part of the specs and all UHDs should be completely Region-free. Therefore it was no point in having a region-field in DVD Profiler for UHD discs and it was not added when DVDProfiler first started supporting 4K UHDs. Unfortunately some authoring-houses found a way around the madatory region-free UHD specs by using region Java-code intended for Blu-Rays on 4K UHD discs.  As for why Invelos hasn't updated DVDprofiler to support it ? I believe there's been no updates the last 7 years. It seems abandoned. I'm not counting on any new versions in the forseeable future. unfortunately  |
