| Posted: | | | | Just moved in to a new house, the home theater was the first room started. Anywho, it's still a little work in progress, have to run wiring through the walls and that type of thing but for the most part it's a done deal. Toshiba 52 inch DLP JBL Northridge series E90 L/R; E35 Center; E10 L/R surround and two for surround back, E150 subwoofer. Toshiba A-30 Sony PlayStation 3 Pioneer cd changer Harmony universal remote (couldn't live without that damn thing!) Pure AV surge protection/line conditioner IKEA chairs...they are actually decently comfortable and only $100 per... We're planning to add a second row of bench seating to accomodate an additional 3-4 people... |

(Wish I could just take one of the beamers at work to my place). | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

| Posted: | | | | I went Blu today. I picked up a PS3 at Walmart...along with a $100 gift card. Once I get it hooked up I'll finally be able to watch the Blu ray movies I have (all 7-8 of them). It looks like I may be losing my vcr. I'll probably be putting it in that spot. Quoting flyersfan: Quote:
I still have: TV - Toshiba 47HL167 DVD - Oppo DV-981HD Speakers - Polk Audio 5.1 satelllite system Sony VCR (though I can't seem to get it to work with my system now. It keeps freezing when I pull up the menu. grrrr)
New stuff Receiver - Onkyo TX-SR705. It was under $600 on Amazon on Superbowl weekend so I jumped on it. HD-DVD - HD-A35. I've boxed up the HDA2 to keep as a back up. I may pick up another A35 if I find one really cheap.

| Posted: | | | | well, i just moved and i didnt want the nightmare that would come with movers moving my ML's so I sold those and replaced some things.........right now I have TV: Samsung S6187 (DLP) Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR805 (on order) DVD Player: Samsung BD-UP5000 (Blu-Ray & HD-DVD) Front Speakers: KEF XQ40's Center: KEF HTC3001 Subwoofer: SV Sound PB-13 Ultra (on order) Surrounds: Mirage Omnisats (4) Wireless Music: Slim Devices Squeezebox I also have a Slingbox hooked to my parents cable box back in Dallas so I can watch American TV. And then to top it all off, I have a new DVD storage system being custom made I am sure you have seen the DVD spinner 1600's that hold around 700-750 DVD's. Well, I am having one built that will hold in the neighborhood of 1500 SD DVD's. Its about 30"x30"x72" Its going to be a furniture quality piece, and the builder quoted me $1000 I'd have paid twice that at least. Those large racks pictured in previous pages are great, but dont ever try to move one. It MIGHT make one move and still be usable, but it definitely wont make a second. I just wanted something that I could call "furniture" rather than "storage". I will be sure and post pics when I get it. | | | Last edited: by kovacs01 |

I exchanged My Xoro HSD 8410 to a Xoro HSD 8430. Which is just another Multiregion Player. Despite buying only HD Discs now I still have a lot of RC1 titles. | | | Check out my Youtube channel under https://www.youtube.com/user/alittleolder |
