| Posted: | | | | CastCrewCheck 2.27.0- Crew with custom function will be shown with regular function and then custom function in parenthesis, for example "Screenwriter (Custom: Teleplay)". - Sort by name now sorts by last name, first name. - Sorting will not be allowed for cast or crew that has episode dividers. - When sorting cast/crew with group dividers, the user will be warned that dividers will be sorted last, and will be asked if they want to sort anyway. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | CastCrewCheck 2.28.0For crew that had suggested birthyears (based on the BY thread) one was supposed to be able to hit Esc in the BY field in order to enter another unlisted birthyear. This did not work. Fixed now. Added Puppeteer checkbox in Cast Edit window. However during testing I found that when cast info is pasted into Profiler, the Puppeteer flag is lost. This is a bug in Profiler. So, whenever Puppeteer is flagged for a cast member in CastCrewCheck, a warning is displayed to remind you to modify that info manually after copying cast into Profiler. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | Oh dear me! I screwed up! I forgot to test against DJ Doena's excellent CastCrewEdit 2. It doesn't contain a Puppeteer tag in the info it sends to CastCrewCheck, and that caused a crash. Totally my bad! Fixed in version 2.28.1 | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | CastCrewCheck 2.30.0Updated to work with CastCrewEdit 2.1.9.8 or later. Note: In order to use CastCrewEdit together with CastCrewCheck you need to use the 32 bit version of CastCrewEdit. Also, after you have installed a new version of CastCrewEdit you need to run it at least once on its own before invoking it from CastCrewCheck. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | CastCrewCheck 3.0This is kind of a "trifecta" update in as much as there are three programs that have something in common that are being updated. These are DvdpVerify, CastCrewCheck and ContribLookup. This update may not look like much but I call it 3.0, same as DvdpVerify, because they should preferably be updated together. I have implemented a way to copy cast and crew from this DvdpVerify to this program that should be more reliable than the old copying via the clipboard. Also, upon start CastCrewCheck now sets itself in transparent and topmost mode, because that's the way you'll want it while you are checking cast and crew. DvdpVerify 3.0 will copy cast and crew immediately when a profile is selected, so the two programs are always in sync. Hopefully this will make for an easier way to audit profiles for those who still endevour to improve the online database. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | CastCrewCheck 3.0.2After a recent update to DJ's CastCrewEdit, the integration between CastCrewCheck and CastCrewEdit stopped working. This has now been fixed. The previous version erroneously included support for WebView2, which was not needed, but takes up a lot of disk space. You can safely delete the subfolder named CastCrewCheck.exe.WebView2. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
