This is exactly what i want, a list of the song writers.  Seriously, nothing more.

Just a long list of songwriters without any extra info, probably confusing people, so why not upload like this:

Getting rid of the extra repeated songwriters.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Just out of curiosity. Who are we listing under credit "Song writer"? Just the person(s) who actually wrote the song (melody, chords, etc.) or also person who just did the lyrics too?

If latter, in my opinion it's against the rules because the person who has just made the lyrics isn't a "song writer".

Why not.  Isn't the lyrics part of the song?  I am sorry, but I  must disagree with this.

I'm with Charlie and Tim, absolutely the lyricist is a song writer.  The lyrics are part of the song.

A song is not a song without lyrics.  Lyrics is what makes it a "song" rather than "music".

So this isn't a song? I think propably few million people disagrees. Now, could you point me a song that doesn't have melody or rhytm, just words on a paper?

So is arrangement. We list them too?

No it's not a song. There is no singing.

Yes it is. Then it's an instrumental song, but a song nonetheless. Never mind the definitions, though - suffice to say that for DVD Profiler, both the song's composer and the song's lyricist qualify for "song writer" credits (if it's an original song, that is).

No, arrangement is not.  The American Federation of Musicians defines arranging as "the art of preparing and adapting an already written composition for presentation in other than its original form."

We list the people who actually wrote the song, not somebody who adapted a previously written song.  In addition, a song can be music only, or words and music.  We do not make a distinction between the two, we simply credit the people who wrote them.  I don't know why it has to be any more complicated than that.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

In short, for songs

We credit the Music writer (if credited) and the lyrics writer (If credited)

Just wanted to let the people know the Planet Terror change was accepted and released so some people may want to lock their profiles (or just locally delete the songwriter dividers as some other crew changes were made as well)

Yes, another one in need of being fixed.    Not to worry: those fixes are regularly approved, too.

Honestly, I can't imagine why anybody wouldn't lock all their data as a default position.  It's why I end up taking such a cavalier attitude about these issues, because I know that they won't be affecting my local regardless of the outcome.
