Here's a thought.  Instead of spending your time worrying about removing data from the database, spend your time putting data in for discs that are missing data.

Fortunately, most of my discs seem to have pretty good data entered already, and I do make corrections from time to time, but there's nothing wrong with trying to get undocumented data documented.

But - on a side note - you are of course technically correct....

The 1243 extras are listed in the original program for the film, so the best way to know is to find someone who have it and scan this part of the program... of course it's highly improbable that someone here own it.

Whistles, I saw it in the theaters and don't remember that. I wonder if I can find a copy, digital or otherwise. Would like to have it.

Could this be the one?  http://www.antiqbook.com/books/bookinfo.phtml?nr=1170021803&Language=en

A mite pricey, but might be worth it for someone.

I picked up a copy for 8 bucks today at "my book store," and it does indeed list a cast of hundreds.  I'd be more than happy to share scans with anyone interested in researching or just curious.

Do I guess right if I say that all the name coming from the Turner Classic Movies database link I've post 2 days ago are exactly the same included in the book? Maybe the 1243 names list in the original program is just a legend...

Thanks for getting it
Sure if you want to post a screen capture of this or those pages it will be the best reference possible if someone who own the dvd wants to correct the uncredited list. At least here we have a real proof and the uncredited cast can be confirmed.

I scanned them 2 bit at 300 dpi, which should be sufficient for this purpose.

No looking at it, there are probably close to the 1200 names listed.  The third page alone probably has close to 500 names on it.
