Chuck: I truly love this show, it is quirky indulgent fun and in todays era of constant fear from terrorism, it kinda makes fun of that as well!!!  Chuck is an everyday ordinary joe's kinda hero and while he never quite gets the super spy model type girl, it is the anticipation that he might that keeps you riveted!!!  Oh and the show is full of 80s and 90s nerdism!!!

Great show but unfortunately not popular enough. I fear for its cancellation after this season.

I am bumping this old thread... as this is happening to me right now! Last month I got the first three seasons of my new obsession. Which is House, M.D. I watched the entire first 3 seasons in only 24 days! And then this month I bought seasons 4 and 5. They arrived just the day before yesterday... and I am already half way done season 4!

I just can't stop myself from watching! I will probably have season 4 finished no later then tomorrow... and then I am sure I won't be able to wait to start watching season 5. I guess I will have no choice but to order season 6 when I get paid again!

I think I need help!

Poor Pete - his addiction has taken him over once again!

One series that I've gotten hooked on is  Oz.

I never seen an episode of Oz. After getting so hooked on House I am actually a little afraid to start another long running series!

I had this happen with The Shield. Watched Season 1 as a blind buy and ended up watching it in one sitting. Then ended up watching every season as I picked it up in one sitting. My fave show of all time possibly.

Early Doors - My father put me on to this BBC comedy that bypassed me. Absolutely fantastic.

I bought Burn Notice season 1 very cheap. Watched it in several days and ordered the rest shortly after.

I'm no half way season 4, after that it's just waiting for season 5 to be released.

Also love Psych.

After three good series in succession (Band of Brothers, Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood) I confidently started with The Shield. Only to find out that this a black gay soap. And when I read that later on Glenn Close would be Captain, I did not continue.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]
