I think it might be a different result if cast and crew were excluded.  Those are huge animals that a lot of people don't want to tackle.  But something like an overview, or a title change.  I think those should be complete if you are going to submit them.

I disagree, Uncus with respect. You have watched my work for years now. I primarily deal with Overviews relative to Italics, bold and trademark symbols. We have other users who are very good prof readers. So now you are trying to tell me that I have to proof read , too.?  I don't think so.

I am not telling you you have to do anything.  I am telling you what I believe you should do.  I am also telling you I will vote 'no' if you don't correct the entire overview.  You are, of course, free to ignore that vote if that is what you choose to do.

I find it amusing that only six (so far) seem to agree with those who bashed Skip a for the past several days for not placing quotes around 'loverly'.

I don't usually vote in DVDP polls between 7:00 am and 8:00 am on a Sunday morning. It takes a little while for the world to spin around you know.

Because it is still wrong...based on the rules.  I don't care whether or not you correct the entire cast list.  BUT, if you make a change to a single actor, you should make sure that actor is completely correct.

Therfore if you want to correct the first name in "Cotrney//Cox Arquette" you will loose anyway. Some will vote no because you should also change the parsing to "Courtney/Cox/Arquette". When you do others will vote no because you did. And a third group tells you to enter "Courtney//Cox" into the common name and "Courney Cox Arquette" into as credited. And the only thing you wanted to do is correct the first name spelling.

And of course a fourth group bitches about the capitalisation of the role name.

Now you are just reaching to try and prove your point.  Sorry, but it isn't working.  Parsing is not covered in the rules...spelling is.  I stand by my original statement.

Of course we could play the same game with spelling: how do I correct the last name in "Francoit Truffot" without getting no votes for the first name? The on screen name would be FRANCOIS TRUFFAUT.

I am sorry but I don't quite undersand what you are asking.

Some would vote no for "Francois" and others for "François".
