Sorry, but what you wrote is not good French (As my English is not good English). You seem able to speak in a manner that French people can understand easily, but your sentences would never be used by French people.

Contributing profiles be it hundreds, thousands or even a mere dozen every year is helpful to the community as a whole. Even spending a few minutes now and then voting on other members' pending profiles contributes to the well-being of the databse. It also lends your opinions weight when commenting on this generally great, if flawed program and system. Petulantly refusing to contribute at even the barest level merely saps the credibility. In my view if you want to effect change, then involve yourself in improving the database at a practical level instead of merely complaining about it while benefiting from others' work.

I happen to agree with you mostly as well. That where we can affectively do something for something that has meaning and value to us. We should at least in some way endeavour even in a small, to contribute.

I tend to respond in kind, with a modicum of escalation.  You thought I was attacking you when such was not my intent so I kept my responses more moderate and reasonable. The first thing Jimmy did was call me an idiot, so he got what he got.

While im not inclined to take sides in this rather heated and personal debate. As someone with aspergers i  can understand though being called an idiot can cause a lot of anger and hostility.
