EDIT: The whole Review Movie settings seem to be mixed up in some sort or another. Yeah, I should have mentioned the review thing in the documentation. It is actually the raw figure from the xml file. 1 bar (or star) = 1 1.5 bars = 2 2 bars = 3 ... 5 bars = 9 So if you want review greater than 4 bars, you need to use 7, not 4. Clunky, but that's the way it works right now because of how the data is stored. That's on my todo list to see if I can do that better. Quoting Wigram: Quote:

That's when it dawned on me - when you save a flag set in profiler, it's just a list of UPCs.
So if you only have ID (UPC/EAN/Disk id/Man. id) in your presentation list, and then save the result as whatever.lst in Profiler's flag folder (in Win 7 normally C:\Users\[username]\Documents\DVD Profiler\Flags) then you can load it as a saved flag set!
How's that for integration, huh? This is yet another thing I really like, thanks for the tip. This equals lots of saved hours in correcting my profiles... which still be lots of hours, though...  Makes me wish once more that we had "None" as one subtitle selection... Missing information there is not as clear cut as in most other fields. Thanks again, this is a superb tool. | | | Mika

And I have corrected the spelling of "Digipak". This is in 1.2.1.
I am holding off on changing the Review function. And I have a breaking change planned. Saving and restoring criteria depends on position in the combobox, which means I cannot change them in any other way than adding things to the end, or I will screw up the position numbers.
I didn't anticipate any need to change things, but I now I find that I really want to be able to do that without breaking functionality every time. So I plan to rethink how those functions are handled, and it's going to be a one time breaking change, and then I can rearrange them as I see fit, without causing any problems.
Or at least that's the plan. One thing I would like to do then is to move Ratings to a group of their own, thus reducing the number of fields under "General". It's a bit unwieldy now. Possibly some other rearranging, too. I'm open to suggestions. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users.

| | Posted: | | | | Well, good news. The changes that I thought would break things worked out without breaking anything, I believe. So I have revamped the groupings, making them easier to navigate. I have also fixed the Review so it uses the same values as you see in profiler (but this is a breaking change - see note below). This means that the review fields are now doubles (i.e. decimal). Make sure you enter decimal values with the appropriate decimal separator (decimal comma or decimal point, depending on your country settings in Windows). Note: This is a breaking change, but only if you have a saved selection set that includes review. If so you need to re-save it with the appropriate new value. I confirm the bug; there is something amiss with the DiscID side A field. If you add it as a presentation field, it appears to be empty. To come back to your original purpose, I find discs without discID with Disc Description Side A Is Missing or Blank. That works real well. | | Posted: | | | | I have added a little function in 1.4.0 - duplicate check. Run a query with all relevant profiles (you might want to exclude box set parents, for example). Makes sure you have Title in the result, and preferably also Production Year. Select Tools->Duplicate CheckThis will display (in the Grid view only) all titles with the same name, based on your previous result. If you include Production Year it will also check if production year is the same (or missing, that is zero). Note: You can not save this output. It is display only. At least for now. Sorry! And if you have a big collection you might want to think twice about running this.
