Thanks for the catch, Mithi.

Country of Origin is affected too. I already re-submitted corrected profiles with Czech locality when I realized that they have Argentina as Country of Origin.

Is is possible to just add to the Country of Origin category?  For example, I have several Middle Eastern films (mostly from Iranian directors like Makhmalbaf, Kiarostami and Panahi).  Could we have a general Middle East COO?  Or at least Iran?  I don't know if we necessarily need them as localities (most of these directors' films have been banned in their country), but I would like to see them under countries.

It would be great if you could add Austria to the Localitiy-List

But there's (maybe) a problem. Austria doesn't have Ratings like other countries have, but some of the DVDs have the German-Ratings on the cover. So if that's not a problem for you, you can use them for the ratings-selection, although only NR will be really used for the profiles.

Thanks in advance.

I own a DVD - Bruce Springsteen - Devils & Bust Bonus Disk - which is made in Austria.  This is not included in the Localities drop down menu.  Is it possible to add Austria to Localities.

Regards & Thanks

Please post this in the feature requests forum with a description of the ratings system used in Austria so we can add it.

Hello

Reference the above.  Help needed.  I am a resident of Malta and I do not know the rating system used in Austria.  Can anybody give this info to Ken so that he may add AUSTRIA  to the locality menu.

Thanks

Austria is a very small market and since it's close connection to germany they don't run a own rating board for DVD (for cinema they have).

But the most companies let their releases rated through the german rating board (FSK) because they want sell their releases in germany too.

Basically only releases which wouldn't get an FSK rating in germany (uncut versions) are released not rated. Because of this (no rating through the FSK) some german companies release special uncut versions in austria.

Therefor it would be applicable to use the german ratings as it was done for the switzerland locality:

The Austrian ratings should be:
FSK-0
FSK-6
FSK-12
FSK-16
FSK-18

Thanks in advance for including the locality Austria to the profiler.

Sounds easy Ken! Could you please add Hungary?

Ratings: 12, 16. 18.
All are symbols in a circle, but when it's for all, it's a green circle, so I'm not sure how you handle that. I guess just an "All" category would be fine.

Hungary belongs to Region 2.

Of course, if Hungarian could be also added in the list of countries of origin, that would be great!

/Mikkel

Ken, the Hungarian ratings are not correct. In the program they are now GI, 7+, 13+, 15+, 16+. I don't know where they came from. Could you please correct them to what I stated above?

EDIT: Also, Hungary seems to be available only when the DVD is ALL regions, it should also be available when it is region 2.

As I go through my collection, another country I need added (like the Middle Eastern variants I mentioned above) would be Vietnam.

You need to include the ratings for the country for it to be added. From the first page of this thread:

Adding localities is not difficult and does not require a program release.  All I need is the name of the locality and details of the ratings system used.

The ratings for Iceland are a bit strange...

The first one is Akkur - whatever that is supposed to be. There are also a couple missing...

The current system is:

L
7
12
16
18

The only problem is that Vietnam has no ratings system.  Neither do most of the countries in the Middle East.  They are either banned or released.  NR would be the only ratings for these countries.

Not sure, but I guess that is all that Ken would need to know. The system is that there is no system!

I would like to ask you to add Greece in the localities and the countries of origin options.

We have the following ratings: K (suitable for all), A-13 (suitable for kids over 13 years old) and A-17 (viewers over 17 years old). Apart from these there are adult movies rated with an X.

So, the greek films' ratings system is: K, A-13, A-17 and X.

Ken, thanks for adding Austria to the Locality-List.

Could you please correct a small error with the Austrian-Ratings. Instead of "FSK" it only says "FS" (e.g. FS-6, but FSK-6 would be correct).

Thanks in advance!
