Question about Birth Years and bands/groups |

That's right, it's also to distinguish between "crew" members. Bands are not "crew" either  . But bands are crew when they do a theme song or full soundtrack, like the Dust Brothers for Fight Club. Not the best example as that's broken into the 2 dudes names, credited as Dust Brothers, but you can see the point. Wait, way better examples from my local... AC/DC for Maximum Overdrive or Fishbone for The Tripper. We've just never had a band and person unrelated share a name before now. |

I should mention I don't really care if, or really want, bands to have BY's, so I'll just quit with the "what if's" and "buts" now before I get more questions I can't answer.
