I think the child profile should point to the parent profile image, instead of scanning individual images. (unless there are image sets included with the child profile).
I think a program option could be made on a per child profile level (possibly setting a default option), that way, the person always sees his image (Disc ID Profiles only)

Furthermore, the main purpose of adding a cover image is to identify at a glance the movie you are looking for. If every movie has the same image the cover is no longer useful.
Of course this is just my opinion but now you have all the elements to understand why I posted those images. 
I think an exception should be added to the rule. I understand what you're saying but the rules are what they are. You can keep the disc scans for your local, just lock the images and they'll stay, even through upgrades and reinstallations on new computers and such. I have the US egg, and just use original poster scans for the child profiles locally. I hate looking at the same picture over and over in a boxset.  |

On a side note, both versions, the egg and box, were released on the same day here in the states so, for something like that, I would go with the scans of the more common version.
