"copying from accepted profiles"

One small point from me also, this is only allowed if the notes for the approved profile contain documentation for the uncredited

Just one more minor point:
While "personal identification" and "copying from accepted profiles" are allowed sources, "Third party" data is not.
Not sure how to handle this now: Ignoring the rules to enter correct data, or leave out data and obey the rules?? <Shrugs>

That's quite true -> but I will only be using the third party data to back up my personal ID of Trigger.  After all those Roy Rogers movies I went through for Gabby Hayes common name, I know what Trigger looks like.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

There are times that third party sources will need to be used. For example, many films list the actors but not their roles. In those cases invelos requires us to use multiple sources for that documentation.

The guidelines read: "Please don't submit content from a third party database..." It does not say "from third party databases" (plural).

I have contributed hundreds of profiles that required outside information. I specifically document the reason for using outside sources and the need for using several of them. I can not recall ever having a contribution declined because of my use of multiple third party databases.

It is only the use of a single third party sources are not allowed. But, of course there is always an exception which was addressed by Ken here: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=423779&PageNum=1.

Edit: Ken's clarification is on page 2.
