I have a follow-up question on this topic, That I am sure will bring a private evil smile to someone's face.
With all due respect to Jesse---WHO CARES?

Oh Skip...
I think I'll speak for all of us by saying that we (as a strong/united community) would prefer to see 3.0 being released by IVS rather than a new company.
I mean... Ken did a fantastic job with the 3.0, but it lacks continuation and the soul of IVS.

But that's just me I guess

I haven't said anything that should be taken seriously, my god if you guys don't know my wicked sense of humor by now....

Is anyone else having guilt pangs, I haven't had time to look back at the old forums for a few days and I keep feeling guilty

It's like being unfaithful - or so I am told

I will probably check back from time to time, but I have no intention of keeping my installation of 2.5 active.  This is like any past upgrade: I am embracing it whole heartedly.  Just because we have moved to another website does not mean that we have lost the essence of DVDP.  The essence has always been the community.  DVDP and it's location is just a tool to make that happen.  Granted, now that tool has gotten loads better, and we are now out of the dark.  I'm sorry it had to happen this way, but it is Ken's (and Gerri's) dedication to the user community (not to mention the SWEET upgrade) that brings me along for the ride.  With all due respect to Jesse (who has been awesome over the last year) and the rest of Intervocative, its their loss and our gain.

I go there on a daily bases and still use the old program to ‘verify’ details of DVD I want to order as our on-line shops tend to just give Title, Year & Barcode for lesser known releases – will probably do this till new db more populated.
