The exact amount I paid was:

24.98$ + 13.95$ shipping.

I was indeed rather disappointed in the high shipping cost. If I added season 3 to my order, shipping cost went up to over 21$. But still, JB's price including shipping was lower than most other shops without shipping cost. I do fear customs will add another 10€ import fee as sometimes they include shipping cost in the product value

I just received my shipping notification, and I expect a 2 - 3 week delivery time.

Ok, well if you get it and are happy with the cost and thinking about getting season 3 as well. Then remember, in Australia we have a goods and services tax of 10%. Theoretically JB should not have charged you this nor should you have paid it. ex-GST should have been 22.70? perhaps. Just saying in case you do think of getting something else from them you might like to ask about the GST.

Checked the AusPost charges page and a parcel up to 250 grams air mail to Germany is $12.50

Thanks for the info. Well, Belgium is one stop further I guess, which could explain the extra 1.45$.
No info on taxfree purchases for international customers on their website though.

Prices are a litter higher as hoped, but if all goes well with this delivery, I'll certainly order the next season as well.

Well, my Boxset arrived today, so it took only just over a week. I checked my VISA and payed 33.63€ in total, which is still acceptable. Season 2 is indeed locked R4, so I'll have to unlock my BD player. I've found the procedure. I just have to get my hands on a OneForAll remote. I'm waiting feedback from a colleague who might have one. If not I'll have to order one via Amazon.

I'll go ahead and order Satisfaction Season 3 right away. Thanks once again.

Went down to JB's to buy Battleship (since it's out here now) and ended up walking out of the store with 10 DVD's! Got suckered by their current buy 2 get 1 free sale...

Out of the 10, only 2 exist in the db! So c'mon you Aussie's, where are you, you're supposed to be doing all the contribs for me :-)

DVD's, there's your problem right there. b2g1f on Blu-ray is where it's at!

Well, what ones did you get, that'd help. I'm so far behind doing profiles... they built up while my Dad was sick; trying to get some done. Averaging about 3 to 4 new profiles a week. Can't help with Blu-ray as I don't have a Blu-ray drive in my computer.

Cheers

I'm just having a dig and trying to create some Aussie banter on these forums ;-)

I actually like doing the contribs anyway, got these 8 on the way, done scans etc - most probably will upload them tomorrow as I am watching some movies tonight.

Interestingly, I think they are about to release a box set of the girl with the dragon tattoo series (Millenium trilogy) as I bought all 3 on the b2g1f deal and all the disc id's are labelled "Millenium Disc 1" "Millenium Disc 2" "Millenium Disc 3" even though they are separate editions. It's the original extended versions as well. Looks like disc labelling for a boxset.

I was tempted to grab those, but I'm trying to ease back on my purchases and blind-buying a trilogy seemed counter to that end.

Part of the problem with the discs not being in the system is that it's usually the cheaper re-releases that make it into these sales.

I wasn't having a go; I realised you were just trying to bring some verbal creativity to this Aussie thread. .
Too many sales on. I spemd more time at JB than doing profiles!

Cheers

I've always wanted those movies, it's just that I am not really a fan of having to read subtitles. So I was waiting for them to show up in a boxset cheap. Although these 3 aren't a boxset, they are the extended version (about 20mins extra length each) and they worked out to $8.65 ea - I couldn't resist.

Yep, and I'm the type to buy the cheaper re-releases :-)

Tell me about it.. damm store is 10-15 minutes walk from my place and provides a convenient excuse to get some exercise as well as look at dvd's. And at those times they are closed, the buggers have their website tempting you with specials....

JB is about the same distance for me too. It's directly across the road from the "Dead" centre of town (the cemetary). On those Friday late night shopping excursions to JB, I'm acutely aware of ZOMBIE ATTACK...lol.

Cheers.

2 DVD's arrived in the mail today. Woohoo, one's already in the db, so 50% success there - better then the 2 out of 10 from the weekend :-)

Sidrat, I never go to JB's after dark. Here it's across from a racecourse (horses) and I actually use the horse walking tracks as a shortcut to JB's. So going after dark doesn't bring a fear of zombie attack but more a fear of stepping in something that leaves a bad smell on one's shoe

(and yes, I am going to keep stretching this topic hoping to see how many Aussies there are around here)
