Another one from BBC (I believe)... but how is the series HEX? I been curios about checking it out.

It's cheap, there's no doubting that, but from what I saw on telly, it was good fun.

I never been much for Anime.... but my daughter seems to love it.

Check out Witch Hunter Robin (your daughter might be interested in that recommendations database in the link too).

Being Human is pretty good (the UK version, not the US version).

I don't know if Danae means the original series or the 1995-2002 remake. I only know the new series and can give it

A lot of episodes are sci-fi related, most of them with interesting philosophical questions or dilemmas, but a great deal of episodes has horror elements and the conclusions are often not forseeable or happy.

Absolutely worth watching!

I totally mean the original!  The new one could also be good, but I haven't seen it.

Blood Ties: The Complete Series.

Vampires etc, and can usually be found pretty cheap. It got cancelled, but I personally loved it.

...not even in the same zipcode as horror. It's a collection of Dramas, i.e., 12 Angry Men, et al.

While I am looking mainly for horror... if it is a good series I would still consider it.
