While that sounds good on the surface, it could end up being a problem.  It is possible that the main disc, or discs, could be region A and B, but the extras disc was only region A.  Stupid and dumb, yes.

Your reasoning would mean that DVDP would list it only as region A, which IMHO is very wrong.
