I can have it the way I want it in my local database.

You can still contribute to the re-release cover site, as Addicted2DVD pointed out. Other users can also benefit from your scans.

I went to Mithi's site, tried to register, couldn't enter a URL (have no idea what URL I would enter, I have none to post a link to), clicked Register.......and nothing happened.  Register button grayed out, nothing more, Register User box is still there, doing nothing...

I wouldn't mind sharing these images, I've contributed several DVDs here so I'm not shy about that.  Just give me somewhere to upload them to...         -kd5-

There still a few bugs in his site. After registration, you need to close the registration window, and refresh the page. You should be logged on.

The rest on how to upload covers, is explained here.

Should you still receive error messages, sent Mithi a personal message. I'm sure he will help you.

Followed your link to the How To instructions, saw a message at the top that reads:  Your registration request is awaiting administrator approval, so I guess I'm on the right track.  Now I wait...      -kd5-

Yeah, that is one of the bugs the site unfortunately still has.  Whenever usual website would reload to tell you what is going on, your have to hit F5 yourself.

Registration received, "S" album created, images uploaded, hope I did everything correctly!

Took a little while, had to keep at it, but I believe my perseverance paid off.

Thanks everyone...         -kd5-

, I think jewel cases were uused for some films back in the early days before the DVD market exploded, those that were released in jewels are probably quite rare and potentially quite valuable.

You would think this, but it's really not the case. Most of the jewel cases came from Simitar, who do have some very valuable OOP titles, just none of the jeweled ones.
I can think of the following jewel case first release:

The Fear - nobody cares but me, but it's TV edit so I'm about to sell back. Picked up used for $5 a couple weeks ago, in jewel case!

The Surgeon - noone cares

The Shadow - no cares

Skinner - yeah. Even post-porn Traci Lords can't make anyone want this pile of crap. OOP for almost a decade and still 5 copies on amazon for under $5!

Then you have stuff that came later. post jewel-case, which is hard to find and often goes for big $, like Glitch!

Can't recall any others right now, but know there are at least a few more.
