Indeed it is, but as I mentioned, some overcome this restriction by PM'ing the contributer before voting, helpfully pointing out the problems and allowing an opportunity to withdraw and correct the contribution.

It makes me wonder sometimes how many contributers have been lost forever simply because as a newbie, a problematic contribution of theirs has been savaged by a few with 'people skills issues', and they've simply thought "oh sod it!"...

I did that often when my collection was on the server. Unless it was someone clueless or arrogant (usually those who attack the voters in their note following a vote), I have sent many screencaptures when an uncredited cast member was removed or to show something in the credits. Most of the time the result is that no one became angry over a no vote.
