Swissfilm, as far as running time is concerned I think it's pretty straightforward:
- if it's a new contribution, you can take the running time from the back cover
- if someone has checked that against the actual running time on the disc, then you are required to keep that running time in the online
- if you want to check the exact running time, you can use your standalone BD player for that
I think your question had a technical side to it, as it seems you can't check the running time at a glance with your player. I don't know which model you have but I think a lot of them have menu/display option where you can see the remaining time vs total playtime of a disc or something similar. Just read it off from there and you'll be fine. It might be necessary to check your manual to see how to activate that. But in general, there's no need of a BD drive in your PC to check that (unlike for example the disc ID) |
