Because 'The Parent Trap' is in the largest font, I can't agree with that.

That's the title of the DVD Edition, which is a double feature of two titles, not one. "The Parent Trap 2-Movie Collection" does not include the title of the second movie, which is clearly printed on the cover.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter.  The largest font is the title, not the edition.  This is the Parent Trap, 2-Movie Collection, which includes The Parent Trap and The Parent Trap II.

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

I have to agree with Grendell, except I would put a colon between "The Parent Trap" and "2-Movie Collection" so it would be:

Title: The Parent Trap / The Parent Trap II
Edition: The Parent Trap: 2-Movie Collection

The reasoning being is the title can't be Parent Trap, as there are two movies contained within. You can't have one title for two movies in this case.

This is DVD-Profiler and NOT Movie-Profiler.
We are talking about the title of the Boxset here and not about the titles you may find in there.

So the titles of the movies included, in this case, belong to the children (if there are any) or to the episode-dividers (if there are no child-profiles possible).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Exactly... and to further support...

Title: The Parent Trap
Edition: 2 - Movie Collection

Here is a quick scan I did that shows the title on the spine as well...

EDIT:
Just checked the votes... so far everyone seems to agree with me. Yes: 10  No: 0

Well, I clearly see both 'The Parent Trap' and 'The Parent Trap II' on the cover of the DVD.  Just because part of the type is in larger font does not meant the rest is not part of title.  I can give hundreds of examples where different size fonts are used and the smaller font parts are not excluded from the title.

From my perspective the title should be entered as:

Title: The Parent Trap: The Parent Trap / The Parent Trap II
Edition: 2-Movie Collection

Looking it over, I agree that this might be the best option.

Sorry, but for DVDP, the title on the spine is irrelevant.

I think it is clear from the front cover that the intention is to title the series of films "The Parent Trap."  The contents are shown on the cover, but I don't interpret them as part of the title of the release.  Therefore:

Title:  The Parent Trap
Edition:  2-Movie Collection

I disagree.
While I do agree the size of the font means nothing (And always thought so... even with Possessives!). The placement to me indicates that the top is the title of the set. And then at the bottom of the case it is listing the contents. And while the spine is not per Rules what we go by... it definitely can help you determine the title if there is any doubt.

Well, I don't remember the Rules making any mention of "placement" as a determinant of the Title.

By using what I suggested, you are providing users with the most information possible and not excluding what are clearly "titles" listed on the front cover of the DVD.

Where is the slash coming in? I see no slash on the cover. I (and others) recently voted no to such addition of a slash that wasn't on the cover.

So I guess the way you see it. Something like this...

...would have to be....

The Girls' Night In Collection: Just Like Heaven / Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! / How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days / What Women Want / Forces of Nature

After all... I see all those titles on the case. Though I would believe The Girls Night In Collection would be the correct title. (Which BTW is how it is in the database) Not to mention... awful long... would be tricky adding it within the amount of space available.

Here is another example...

So this should be changed to...

The Karate Kid Collection: The Karate Kid: Special Edition / The Karate Kid II / The Karate Kid Part III / The Next Karate Kid

Even if it did fit I would vote no to such a change.
